What People Are Saying.

“I met Emilie in 2020, when she joined one of my public speaking group workshops. She was motivated to share her story with the world, and to do that as well as possible. Emilie is a pro athlete, and the work ethos that has shaped her from a very young age is clearly reflected in her attitude today. She approaches every project with professionalism and dedication. If she can’t commit those resources, she doesn’t commit to the project.

After the group workshop, Emilie and I had about 15 one-to-one coaching sessions, during which we fine tuned and practiced her very first keynote. She delivered this talk during the opening session of EHiN, Norway’s conference on eHealth, in November 2021. I witnessed the transformation firsthand – from a decent, but slightly insecure talk, to a powerful, raw, life changing story.

Truth is one of Emilie’s key strengths. She speaks about experiences she has lived through. After surviving a tragic car accident, she felt she could no longer continue her career in professional show jumping. Physical recovery did not equal mental recovery. Seven years passed before Emilie could finally integrate this shattering experience and reinvent herself. From high-school kids to corporate executives, nobody will leave Emilie’s talk unmoved, or without some serious food for thought regarding their own inner resources.

Any company or event organiser would be fortunate to have Emilie as a Speaker. She is not only a true source of inspiration, but also a joy to work with.”

“We had the honor to welcome Emilie to Mercentec College where she recently delivered her talk in front of our students. Emilie told her story about how she went from being a professional horse rider to a competitive surfer and how her life suddenly took an unexpected turn when she was a passenger in a car accident.

Emilie’s talk was based around her own story; an open and honest tale about learning to learn into her fears and showing vulnerability. She engaged with the students and told them about the importance of believing in yourself, setting goals and following your dreams. Emilie is very authentic and engaging and all our students were listening carefully, asking questions and engaging. I am positive that our students learned a lot from Emilie’s talk. It was an amazing talk and we can wait to have Emilie back when new students arrive.”

“Emilie did a talk in our co-working space in Kelp in the summer. I was super touched by her story and inspired by her journey. Her vulnerability was her strength and connection to the audience. I think there were lots of private tears. I am always inspired by anyone that has put time and commitment into becoming good at something. Emilie has done this twice and the second time with surfing it was through adversity that the power came. So happy she is part of our community here and that she is spreading a beautiful message of courage, vulnerability and commitment to following her heart and adventures. Thank you Emilie!”
